Prior to meeting Keiko, I have had no background in music nor training with an instrument. I did not even know how to read music sheets. I have been taught to use a piano by Keiko for almost a year now. She is a very calm and patient teacher, I never felt the lessons to be nerve-wracking even though I make numerous mistakes during my lessons with her. She explains things clearly and in a simple way that even people who do not know much about music would understand. She is meticulous in spotting mistakes and quick to point out and correct them by demonstrating the right way to play it. Her teaching style suits me as I tend to learn by watching and doing. I really appreciate her teaching me how to play the piano and I can see the progress I have made under her tutorage. Thanks Keiko!!!!
